We specify high-grade Copper Nickel (CuNi), often referred to as Kunifer, for its superior performance characteristics over traditional copper. CuNi offers significantly enhanced resistance to corrosion – a critical factor for braking systems exposed to road salt, moisture, and road debris. Its higher fatigue strength also provides greater durability against the constant vibrations and stresses of everyday driving, ensuring a safer, more enduring repair.

This tubing is manufactured in Great Britain, purpose-designed and rigorously tested for braking applications. We use only top quality copper nickel tubing manufactured in Great Britain specifically for braking systems. All tubing is 100% electrically and pressure tested and conforms to the highest standards.

Cooper pipes are more traditional and easier to work with however Copper Nickel (aka CuNI, Kunifer, cupro-nickel or NiCopp) is more resistant to corrosion and has a higher fatigue strength.
