Five Star Chemicals – Star San Sanitizer (Various Sizes)
Star San is a favorite sanitizer among brewers! This cleaner is an acid-based, high-foaming, no-rinse sanitizer that works quickly and effectively to clean hard-to-reach spaces. Star San’s self-foaming helps to clean cracks and crevices, otherwise impenetrable. Star San is odorless and flavorless, biodegradable, and environmentally friendly, so there are no worries about leftover residue harming you or your brew.
Directions for Use
Use 1 ounce per every 5 gallons of water, allow 1-2 minutes of contact time for Star San to work its magic! Star San does not require rinsing when used at the recommended dosage.
If you plan on making some up for spray application, distilled or RO water is recommended to maximize the shelf-life once opened.
