This is a new, experimental hop variety from Idaho’s Jackson Farms — the fine folks who brought your Idaho 7™. ID-158 is also known as “Pink,” named for its distinctive pink trial markers in the field. It delivers a desired combo of citrus and stone fruit, but what sets this hop apart from the herd are the subtle flavors of honey, apple, strawberry and vanilla. Use ID-158 on its own or let it add depth alongside varieties like Mosaic®, Cashmere or even Idaho 7™! Sweet, sophisticated flavor crafted for a truly unique brew.
Experimental ID-158 hops are playfully referred to as “The Ocho”.
