Female bust with hair tousled by the wind, inspired by a love for the sea and sailing. Each sculpture in the “Rose of the Winds” series is named after one of the eight winds of the Mediterranean. Maestrale, Libeccio, Scirocco—female figures gazing southward. Their hair indicates the direction of the wind, the wind as the engine of the soul.
